SCBA extends National Survey of Women Advocates till 15 Feb

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has further extended the deadline for National Survey of Women Advocates till 15th February, 2026. The link to the Google Form has been shared at the end of this article.
The survey was initially notified through a circular dated 24th December, 2025. At that point, the last date to fill the survey form was 15th January, 2026, to be analyzed in the National Level Conference (tentatively scheduled in 3rd week of March 2026). With an overwhelming response received from women across the nation, the SCBA earlier extended the last date to submit forms for National Survey of Women Advocates till 15th January, 2026. This is the second extension of the deadline to submit forms so that more women share their lived experiences of being an advocate in India.
The objective of the survey is to document and highlight the lived experiences of women advocates. It further aims at building a more inclusive, equitable, and representative legal community. The survey is comprehensive and detailed, containing 54 questions in all. The questions have been segregated into following Sections:
- Section A: Basic Profile & Practice
- Section B: Office, Infrastructure & Technology
- Section C: Experience, Comparison & Bias
- Section D: Challenges, Mentorship & Well-Being
- Section E: Marriage, Motherhood, Care, Work and Family
- Section F: Leadership and Institutions
- Section G: Career Satisfaction & Reform
The most important of all seems to be the last one which seeks top 3 reforms needed to improve the status of women advocates.
